Slow Dance

The lights are low,

The music is soft and calm,

and I love the feel of your fingers

Tracing the delicate lines on my palm.

One hand is around my waist,

Holding me in so tight,

I wouldn't wish for anything

'Cause it's all good tonight.

As I move my hand up your arm

and hug you close to me

I put my head on your chest

letting your scent set me free.

As we gently sway together,

the music keeping steady

I can't help but ask myself,

"Am I really ready?"

Just dance with me tonight,

Don't let anyone say it's not right,

'Cause both of us, we know it's true,

And tonight I just wanna dance with you.
